Nasreen Bibi's story

Nasreen Bibi is a 35 year old, married woman living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan with her spouse and two children. She is pictured standing with her children.

She wants to take loan to support her husband. Her husband also assists her younger brother by purchasing the stock of goods from the market. He will buy salt, biscuits, and beverages to meet the increasing demand at his general store. He wants to improve his financial conditions through generating increased income. He also wants to provide better services to his family.

She has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner, BRAC Pakistan, so that her husband can purchase inventory such as pulses (grain legumes), rice, flour, soaps, biscuits, and chocolates to generate more income. Then he can easily care for his family and can provide better education and medical services to his family.
