Hac, 57, is a Thai ethnic woman who lives with her husband in the small Thai ethnic traditional stilt house in a poor area. Although this couple is getting older, they work very hard on their farm with plenty of jobs such as growing rice and raising buffaloes, chickens and bees. Also her husband works as an officer in their commune.
Born and raised in this remote area, they are willing to invest all time and resources on their farm with the hope that their farm will be fertile and prosperous. So Hac decided to take a loan from Anh Chi Em program to buy fertilizer to create healthy crops. She hopes that with the support in both finance and technical knowledge of the Anh Chi Em program, they will have a bumper harvest. In the picture, she stands first from the right.
