Qorichaska Del Cusco Group's story

The members belong to the communal bank “QORICHASKA DEL CUSCO”. This bank is located in the district of Santiago, province and department of Cusco. Encarnación is 56 years old. She is married and has three children. She works selling clothes, specially women's clothes. She makes dresses, shirts and blouses. She has already worked for a while in this business and is doing very well. She has experience in the textile business. Through this business she is able to give her family a better quality of life. The member is requesting the loan to buy fabrics and threads. The picture of the member who is attached to the group photo was taken after the meeting, because he asked for permission for work reasons. Encarnacion is grateful to the KIVA lenders and promises to make her payments on time.
