A loan helped to purchase furniture for her school.


Sumeira's story

Sumeira is 25 years old, a young and determined woman. She wanted to give the under-privileged children in her community an opportunity to have access to quality education at a tuition fee which they can afford easily. Thus, she opened a low-cost private school for them. There are 141 students enrolled in the school and 46% of them are female students. The aim of the school is to help the students get high quality educational services. Moreover she aims to develop a sense of respect for everyone and self-esteem among the students. At present, there is a shortage of furniture in the school and some of the old broken furniture needs to be replaced by new furniture. She has requested an amount of Rs. 100,000 for purchasing the furniture.
