Michelle's story

I grew up a product of divorced parents. I often found myself in the middle of disputes. At an early age, I was drawn to the practice of law as a means for resolving disputes.

I moved to Salem, Oregon to pursue a law degree. I took some time off to have a second child and during that time I invested in the necessary training to become a mediator. I had to volunteer hours of my time in order to gain the requisite experience. I now find myself in the middle again, but helping people resolve their disputes.

My dream for the future is to be able to raise my children and be a good role model for them. I endeavor to maintain a work life balance so I can spend time with my children, yet keep current in my profession. I am building a good reputation for myself and I have many referrals from other professionals and former clients.
