A loan helped to buy manure, poisons and seeds, and to pay to rent the land to cultivate corn.

Leonel De Jesús's story

Leonel studied up to sixth grade of basic education. He is married and his wife works in household chores. They have a young son. Leonel works in agriculture and has 14 years of experience in this job which he learned from his grandfather. Also, he renders security services for a company. He works 3 days a week, and the other days he works cultivating the land together with his wife.
He needs the loan to buy manure, poisons and seeds, and to pay to rent the land to cultivate corn. He dreams of having his own land where to farm, and to give his son an education.
