Babita, 32, is a resident of Cuttack, district in Odisha. Her village is in a region that is facing an energy crisis. Hence, Babita joined hands with nine other women from the village to seek a loan of 44,200 INR to buy solar lanterns. These lanterns lasts for 8 to 12 hours on a day's charge.
