A loan helped to buy construction materials to finish a cistern.

Marie Yolande's story

Marie Yolande has grown her grocery store a lot. The freezer and the generator were purchased. Her profit margin was 205 percent last year. With the profit, she has built a cistern to keep water to resell to the community. By now, she would like to finish it up and launch the drinking water business.

Yolande's neighborhood welcomes this initiative as she will hire two more people (one to sell and one to deliver goods in bulk to clients).

This loan is special because:

It provides small and growing businesses in Haiti with access to capital.
