Facouma is a Malian woman, 52 years old, who lives in a rural commune in Mali with her husband and their six children, aged 10 to 22, of whom two are in school. Facouma did not have the chance to go to school. For sixteen years, she has been a farmer and even raises livestock to keep active.
Concerned about improving her businesses, she has turned to RMCR. She gets her supplies from the nearby market and makes her sales at the same market. Her ambition is to own many animals. She says she is glad to be able to meet the basic needs of her children (schooling, food, …) with the revenues generated from her work. Facouma is the woman holding the tub of peanut seeds.
