A loan helped to increase merchandise.

Digna's story

Digna is the mother of two children, and she works to offer them the best. Thanks to the work of her husband, they have a house to live and settle in. When she married, she began to worry about their finances, since their needs grew, and her partner couldn’t afford the costs that their children demanded. For this reason she began to work as a traveling salesperson. Three years ago, she began to sell clothes and kitchen utensils from door to door to obtain necessary experience. Since one year ago, she began to work in orders at the end of every month, and she only sold in the streets on weekends at the markets. Now, thanks to the support of her partner, she is finishing the construction of her home where she hopes to invest various years of savings to install a grocery store. This is her first loan with MFP. It is opening the doors to progress and establishing new relationships with the women in her community bank. With the 1000 soles, she will buy merchandise, since her orders have grown, and she doesn’t have the necessary capital to cover the investment. Now she will be able to distribute her orders.
