Alice's story

Alice is a repeat borrower of UGAFODE Microfinance and has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 UGX. She is a married woman with children. She owns a banana plantation from which she harvests matoke to sell. In order to increase her capital from matoke and pay school fees for her children, she has applied for a loan of 3000,000 UGX that she will use to buy manure and hire labor. Her challenge has been low banana output from her plantation. She feels that with this loan she will improve her family income and their standard of living.
