Linda's story

I grew up in Pacifica, CA - a small coastal community near San Francisco. I left after high school, attended school, traveled, and worked. I moved back to Pacifica in 1998.

I've always thought of having a shop here. I'm excited about the idea of having a location in town where I know so many people. New businesses are opening in Pacifica, new growth is happening. More people are moving here and the demographic is changing. There is a constant stream of people coming to surf, eat, and shop. I would like my shop/workshop location to become a destination. People enjoy seeing how and where artists work. One goal is to have a great work space, but also have a beautiful retail venue in the front of my studio to get people excited about the makers of our world and enjoy shopping and buying from a local. I envision the space as very dynamic, creative shopping destination not only in Pacifica, but the Bay Area.

I have a strong entrepeneurial spirit, believe in working hard, being good at what I do, and becoming a solid business person in my community.
