A loan helped to purchase rice, oil and other ingredients for her restaurant.

Noussa Asman's story

Noussa is a 29-year-old married mother to two children aged four and seven years old; both of them are currently attending public school. Her partner is still receiving profession training. The profits from her previous ventures have allowed her to acquire furnishings for her home.

Noussa runs her own small restaurant. This is her main business. In order to offer a quality service, she needs to stock a wide range of quality produce. With this third loan, in order to avoid constantly going back-and-forth for supplies, she wants to order a sufficient quantity of non-perishable raw ingredients such as rice and oil, as well as other products. Her goal is to make this restaurant her main source of income and to put aside enough savings to build her own house. By doing this, she will be able to get around paying for rent.
