A loan helped to buy fertilizer and manure for his coffee farm.

Marlon Adony's story

Marlon is 21 years old and is single. He lives with his mother in a village in the district of Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara. Marlon was studying and helping his mother with the coffee farm. Now he is in charge of maintaining the farm and harvesting coffee to sell as whole beans in the local market. He has been raising this crop for 3 years in a village near where he lives and this work is the only source of income for his family. He is requesting a second loan from this institution for the sum of 10,000 lempiras, which he will invest in purchasing fertilizers and manure for his coffee plantation. This will help him increase production on his farm and therefore increase his income. His goal is to farm more land and continue to grow as a farmer.
