Fishers United Group's story

Gladys is the 46-year-old mother of 4 children. Gladys sells prepared food as her business. She started the business to be independent and to financially support her children. She currently has some family members who help in the business.

Gladys and her group members have requested a total loan amount of SLL 12,000,000. Of this amount, Gladys is to receive SLL 3,000,000 which she will use to buy more bags of rice, gallons of palm oil, fish, maggi, and pepper.

The profits will help her to pay for food, buy learning materials, and water. Gladys hopes to build a house for her children and also to continue saving for her children’s education. Gladys and the rest of her group members thank you for your support.
