She is 42 years old and married. She studied up to the second grade. She is the mother of five children, four of whom still go to school and are under her responsibility. She has been working in agriculture for more than ten years. She works together with her husband, and agriculture is her main source of income. She learned by watching others, and with the support of her husband.
She says this is a risky activity, but with some luck, she can make good money. She currently grows different crops, and is about to start growing green beans, cabbage, and tomato, and is preparing the land to sow reno potato. She sells her produce at the local market, at the wholesale market, and sometimes to customers that visit her. Her husband, and three more people, help her to sow and collect the harvest. Depending on her needs, she hires more people.
This will be her third loan. With the previous ones, she invested in her activity, and has been able to pay them back even if she has faced some difficulties that come with her job.
With this loan, she plans to start growing reno potatoes. She will buy potato seeds and different insecticides.
She dreams of developing her activity more, and with the profits, build a laundry in the village, and a store, in order to overcome the difficulties of her current activity.
Her major challenge is to invest both money and efforts, She hopes to obtain good results, considering that hers is a risky activity.
