Sreyneang is 25 years old. She is a married rice farmer and she has two children. Her one child attends school and the other is too young to attend school. Sreyneang is pictured first from the right, and she has been a farmer since 2008. She lives in a rural village in the Tbong Khmum Province of Cambodia. Both of them can earn approximately USD 14 daily.
Sreyneang is the group leader and would like to request a loan as part of a group of three members. She will use her portion to buy organic fertilizer and to pay for plowing fees. In the future, she is going to buy more farmland, build a decent house, and support her children to earn a higher education.
