Aisara's story

Aisara is 63 years old, married and a mother of 6 children. Aisara has a secondary education and is retired. To provide an income for her family, she has been involved in agriculture for 45 years. Aisara's farm contains 0.8 hectares of her own land, where she grows corn, cucumbers and tomatoes for sale. She also owns a food market with a goods turnover of 11,000 som (KGS). All of Aisara's products are in high demand and yield a good profit of about 8,000 som (KGS). To continue developing her business, she requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the Bai Tushum Bank to buy fertilizers and seeds for growing organic products. Aisara expects a rich harvest this year. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further growing her business.
