Koeurn is 25 years old and a mother of a small kid in her care. She lives in a Tboung Khmum province of Cambodia. Her main sources of income from which she can support her family’s living are from farming and working as a laborer for others since 2011. Her husband is a 29 year old farmer. Both of them can make around $10 each day.
Koeurn is a group leader and would like to request a loan as part of her group of four members. She will use her portion to buy compost for farming. This loan will help her to increase her income and improve her family's standard of living. In the future, she hopes that she can farm in both the dry and rainy seasons more than twice per year, renovate for a proper house, and send her child to school.
