Prativa is a forty-year-old married woman who lives with her family in Puri, Odisha. She is blessed with three school going children. She is a costume jewelry manufacturer. She manufactures a variety of costume jewelry like necklaces, earrings, bangles, etc. and sells them in the market and to neighbours at a profitable price.
As her products are of good quality and fashionable, there is a good demand for the products in the local market. So she decided to enhance her business by supplying more fashionable and new designed jewelry sets to her valuable customers.
She needs some capital so Prativa requested a loan from Milaap's field partner, Swayamshree to buy third, stone, copperware, and jewelry making tools in bulk and essential materials to carry on her business smoothly. She hopes she will be able to earn more and improve the financial status of her family with the loan amount.
Prativa has joined hands with ten other women. Together they need a group loan to expand their respective businesses. The loan amount will help these women meet their family's basic needs and cover their children's educational costs. They are grateful to their lenders.
