A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer for growing peanuts and okra.

Tabara's Group's story

Tabara is standing on the far right in the photo. She is holding a myAgro envelope. She is a member of a group of eight farmers who live and work in Keniero, in Mali. She is 64 and has eight children. They are aged between 10 and 35, one of them goes to school. She became a farmer by family tradition.
She chose to register with myAgro due to their payment system and the quality of their fertilizer. For her first year with myAgro, she bought fertilizer for growing peanuts and okra for her field of 1/8 hectare. Through this purchase, Tabara hopes to be able to increase her production. This would enable her to sell her crops, to buy farming equipment, and to pay for marriage for her children.

In this group: Tabara, Siramari, Nassira, Awa Sekou, Tenin Sobara, Walama, Saly Siriman, Coumba
