Edisa's story

Thirty seven years old, Edisa is married with three children and all attend school in Hoima, Uganda. She operates a boutique mainly selling shirts, blouses, trousers among other items seven days a week. To supplement her income she also ventured into operating a salon.

Her aspiration is to expand and develop her business so as to attract more customers. Limited by inadequate capital, Edisa is seeking a loan to buy more secondhand clothes to sell. She appreciates Kiva for funding her previous loan whereby she managed to buy more braids to sell for Christmas.
