A loan helped to buy seeds to plant a plot of bananas.

Martina Maradiaga's story

Martina was only able to study until the fourth grade as her family's economic situation was not sufficient for her to continue studying. She is a single mother with two daughters who are studying and are dependant on her.
Martina has worked in agriculture for 20 years, which she learned from her father. In addition to these activities, she works making woven mats as well as working doing household chores three days a week to generate more income for her family. Her daughters help with her agricultural work in their free time.
Martina needs this loan to buy seeds to plant a plot of bananas. In this way she will be able to generate more income to feed her daughters so that they are not lacking anything.
She dreams of having a large workplace and supporting her daughters so that they can be successful in life.
