Anwar's story

Anwar is a 41 year-old woman, living in Multan, Pakistan. She is the mother of three children, one of which is at school. She has one daughter and one son who are unmarried. She has been running a traditional handicrafts business, such as paranda (Paranda is a colourful fancy hanging worn in the hair by the Punjabi women). Her traditional handicrafts business is very famous in her area and that is the reason her business runs well. She is a brave woman.

Anwar buys raw materials such as colorful fabrics, crystal, pearls of various colors, in advance, to have in stock. She has become an expert in the traditional handicrafts business.

Anwar requests a loan so she will be able to buy raw materials from the market.
