Grupo Xolcaja Group's story

Isabel is 51 years old and married. She has four children, ages between 17 and 26 years old. The family lives in a community in the Xolcaja community.

With a view to increasing her income and helping her family to move forward, Isabel makes a living producing leaves. Isabel has been doing this work for 25 years and, thanks to her years of experience, her product is much sought-after.

Isabel is a great woman. Every day she works with dedication to produce the highest quality product, which is used to wrap foods in. She now feels it is necessary to invest and expand her crops. She is therefore applying for a loan to buy fertilisers and pay labourers.

Isabel's biggest dream is to expand her crops and improve her family's quality of life.
