A villager living in Battambang province, Phanna is 32 years old and a mother of two dependent children, one of whom is too young to attend school while the other one is in school. She has been farming and has worked as a paid worker to earn money to support her family for two years. She also makes snacks for sale to earn additional income as well. She has been in this business over two years.
Lack of working capital to support her business is the main challenge for her. She decided to apply for a loan from VisionFund to solve her problem. This will be her first loan cycle for her group with VisionFund. She will use her loan portion to buy fertilizer and seeds and to pay plowing fees. She hopes to get more income from her business in order to renovate her old house.
