Tewoh Group's story

Jacinta is 48-year-old business woman. She is a member of the Tewoh solidarity group. Tewoh solidarity group has four members who are all women. Jacinta is standing second left wearing white blouse in the picture. Jacinta sells dresses. Jacinta has been in this dress business for the past 16 years. She opens her business six days in a week from 10 am to 6 pm.

Jacinta established her business to support herself and her children. She buys learning material and provides food from the profit she gets from her business.
Jacinta and her group member’s needs a loan totaling 13,000,000 SLL of which Jacinta is entitled to 3,500,000 SLL which she will use to buy additional dresses.
She hopes that this loan will help her generate more profit to support her family. Jacinta is single and has 4 children in the ages of 31, 28, 20 and 18.
In the future, Jacinta plans to save more money to provide for her children’s university education. She believes educating her children to university level will better the lives of her family members. Jacinta and the rest of the group members thank you for your support.
