A loan helped a member to grow her spice business.

Gnubouarissin Group's story

Claudine is a 55-year-old housewife who is married to a farmer. They have 6 children aged 6 to 22 years, 5 of whom attend school. For the past 4 years she has been selling spices, which she purchases in the local markets and then resells in her village via retail sales and wholesale orders. She enjoys the business as it is profitable since her products are part of the recommended diet in her area.

Claudine earns a monthly profit of 35,000 francs, but requires a loan from RMCR in order to grow her business and increase profits. She wants to be able to help her husband with their household expenses, improve their living conditions, and pay their children’s school fees.
