Ah Se' Ka Lay Village Group 2's story

This loan will support 21 members from Ah Se' Ka Lay Village. Pictured above are CBO group members, named Tin, Than, Myo, Thet and Kyi.

Myo (the middle person in the photo) is 40 years old and married with three children. Myo's husband is a farmer and he also breeds ducks. Proximity Design's loan will help Myo and her husband purchase ducks and also high quality animal feed. Other members will help them to repair the duck farm.

Ah Se' Ka Lay Village is located in the Myanmar Delta area and it consists of over one hundred households. The primary business in this village is crop farming; they also raise pigs and ducks for saving. Some men focus on fishing rather than farming. Tailoring has also become a source of income for women around this area.
