Sophorl's Group's story

A 34-year-old resident of Kandal province, Sophorl is married and blessed with three dependent children, two of whom are in school, while the other is under the age of school.

Having been growing rice and working for others for a fee, Sophorl can earn about USD $13 per day, and she can save about USD $7 each day for future needs.

Since she has been with VisionFund for five loan cycles, she has been able to improve her living conditiond and to send her children to school.

In a group of six members, she is the leader, and she is going to use her loan to buy organic fertilizer to improve her farmland. She hopes to sell her rice yield at a high price so that she can keep her children in school and can support her family’s living.
