A loan helped to pay for labor that will help her with the harvest, threshing the crop, and transporting it to her house.

Gloria Del Carmen's story

Gloria is 56 years old. She only studied until 6th grade. Her husband passed away and she was left in charge of her daughter who still depends on her. Her two older children are already independent.
Gloria has worked in agriculture for many years. Some may think that because she's a woman she wouldn't be able to do this hard work but she's very entrepreneurial and has developed the capacity for this kind of work.
She wakes up very early to take care of the house chores and then goes to the fields. Her daughter helps her when she can and together they strive to get ahead.
The loan requested is to pay for labor that will help her with the harvest, threshing the crop, and transporting it to her house. Her dream is to keep working and spend time with her family because the most important thing in her life are her children.
