Leidis is a student of dentistry. She is requesting a loan to cover her educational expenses. This is her story: My name is Leidis Mercedes. I am 18 years old. I was born in Santo Domingo but I grew up and live in Villa Tapia in the Hermanas Mirabal Province.
My father works on a television show and my mother cares for elderly people and my sister works in an ice cream shop. I study dentistry at UCATECI and request this loan to continue studying.
I want to study dentistry because I feel it is my calling to help poor people with their oral health. When I finish my studies, I would like to specialize in orthodontics and this loan will help me to achieve my goals.
