Born and raised in the Isle of Man and with degrees in Business and French and experience in teaching, outdoor education, service learning and community development, Susan’s path ultimately led her to the door of microfinance. She is an energetic self starter with strong integrity and a dedication to human development and community service whilst maintaining high professional and personal standards. She has travelled to over 35 countries for work, pleasure and volunteering and is excited to be heading back to Africa to be the very first Fellow in Malawi. She is looking forward to being able to mesh her professional and personal experiences to help expand Kiva operations with two local MFI's and experiencing up close and personal how microfinance can make a difference in people's lives.
