As the Senior Field Support Specialist for Asia, Cissy works with new and existing field partners to help them implement and sustain processes to ensure successful partnerships with Kiva. Prior to joining Kiva's Field Support Team in 2010, Cissy served as an intern in Kiva's San Francisco Headquarters and a Kiva Fellow with Tanaoba Lais Manekat (TLM) in Indonesia. Cissy has a number of years experience in both international development and finance. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana where she worked with The Carter Center on their guinea worm disease eradication initiatives, as well as planned and implemented projects focused on health education and community development. Subsequent experience includes positions in private equity and with the donor-advised grant-making organization, Give2Asia. Cissy graduated with a BA in International Business from the College of Charleston.
