- I loan because:
- It's the best way we know to do a little bit to redistribute wealth in the world. We were involved in another small loans fund for 4 years in the late 90s. We loaned out the total fund of $7000 over and over in small loans in a slum in Morocco. We got the whole sum back after 4 years when private small loans funds were outlawed by the Moroccan government.
- About me:
- I volunteer my time as a reading teacher, translator, and copy-editor. I translate French to English and copy-edit also for Kiva. Rick earns the big bucks that pay for the loans.
