A loan of $1,000 helps to buy a dairy cow.

Gilda Maribel's story
Gilda is 25 years old and lives with her grandparents in a small town in the city of Riobamba. She has a daughter who goes to school. Gilda is a single mother and only has primary education. She works raising small animals.
Gilda set up this work two years ago due to the lack of employment. Today, raising animals helps her to meet some basic needs of her daughter, because with the sale she gets an income every weekend.
She wants to diversify her animal breeding business by introducing cattle. This loan is requested to buy a cow with which she will get milk for sale, generating another income for the home.
Finally, Gilda aspires to have economic stability to build her house and educate her son, giving him a good quality of life.
