A loan of $600 helps to pay for labourers to harvest maize quickly.

Eva Angelina

Eva Angelina's story

Eva is single. She lives with her son and her nephew, both minors and her mother, a senior citizen, also lives with them. Eva has been growing corn for sale for more than twenty years. Her father taught her the trade. She does this with the help of labourers. She works from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The disadvantage is that in the Summer, the corn seed has difficulty germinating.

She is asking for a loan to provide the financial resources to improve her business. She will pay labourers to harvest the corn crop quickly so she can then store it before it is damaged and sell it at a better price. The investment risk is not hiring the necessary people for the pending farmwork.

Eva hopes to continue growing her business, and achieve financial stability, which will improve her family's quality of life.
