A loan of $1,100 helps to puchase more supplies and materials.

Blanca Virginia's story
Blanca, 54 years old, is a strong woman who, after her divorce had to take on the responsibility of her children's development and growth on her own. They are now adults, independent, and have formed their own homes. After educating her children, Blanca has given herself another opportunity in love and lives with her partner in a house they own, so between the two of them, they care for each other in their old age.
Blanca's partner is a driver, while she works selling humitas and quimbolito, which she makes with great care and dedication in her home's kitchen to later go out to sell in the areas near her neighborhood and in the primary communities in the city.
Blanca dreams of having a permanent retail space in the future to transmit her knowledge to her relatives so that this traditional food that she makes with the recipe of generations of her ancestors is not lost. For this reason, she asks for help from Kiva to puchase more supplies and materials to make her products.
