She is a hardworking woman who despite her illness and advanced age looks for ways to make a living and provide for her family. She and her daughter make piñatas in a variety of designs and sizes. They make them to sell to the public , they also take them to bazaars and places that sell party goods. In addition, they rear chickens and free range hens. She rears these small animals, when they reach the correct weight she sells them by the pound to neighbours in the area. She also collects the eggs from her chickens to sell.
