A loan of $1,275 helps a member to buy fertilizer, organic fertilizer, and other inputs for her market gardening of onions.

Koula Gana Group's story
Awa is the only woman in the group who owns her onion field. She is from Mali, 36 years old, has no education, and is married to a farmer. She has 5 children aged 10 to 18: 1 boy goes to school and the 4 girls don't. Apart from housekeeping, her main activity is the market gardening of onions.
She has been in this business in her area for over 10 years. She buys her seeds and insecticide locally. Her business is important and she decided to ask for a loan from RMCR. The loan will allow her to buy fertilizer, organics fertilizer, and other inputs for her onion market gardening business.
With her sales, Awa can make a profit of 50,000 FCFA per month, which will allow her to take care of her children and her expenses. She conducts her sales at local and surrounding markets. Awa dreams of growing her garden and being financially independent.
