Fasobaara1 Group's story
Amara is the one leaning against the banana tree with his hand on his hips. He is a 31-years-old Malian, without formal education. He is married to a housewife and father of four children, two boys and two girls, all aged under 14, not attending school. Its main activity after wintering is vegetable farming. He has been running this business for over 10 years in his village.
Given the size of his business, he requested a loan from the RMCR to invest in his banana plantation by purchasing fertilizer, gasoline, a pump machine and its accessories for watering the banana trees.
His banana business is profitable. Because after the sales, Amara can have a profit of 75,000 CFA francs per month which allows him to take care of his children and loved ones while repaying his loan.
He sells to local and surrounding markets. Sometimes buyers also come to his village to buy the products.
Amara dreams of expanding his business by finding other suitable places for his market business while hoping to have a lot of profit which will allow him to be financially independent.
