Chung's story

Chung is 45 years old and lives with her family in Đông Sơn district. She has one grown child who has moved away for work.

With over 15 years of farming experience, she also works in a local stone workshop to supplement her income. Her husband is a freelance laborer, but due to the irregularity of available work, their household income is only around $355 per month, placing them in the low-income category in their community.

This is Chung’s third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. This loan is intended to supplement her livestock farming capital. She is seeking additional funding to invest in livestock farming by purchasing some buffaloes to raise for meat.

Her previous loans have helped improve her family’s living conditions, and she hopes this new investment will provide a more stable source of income. However, she faces difficulties as the sales price of livestock remains low, affecting her overall earnings. In the future, Chung hopes for a healthy and happy family, a more stable business, and enough savings to prepare for unexpected difficulties such as illness or unemployment.
