Thân

Thân is 65 years old and lives in Đông Sơn district. She has two grown children who have moved away for work, so she currently resides with her young granddaughter.

With over 30 years of experience in farming, she also works part-time preparing plant seedlings for local farmers, to earn extra income. However, due to her age and the irregularity of available work, her family remains in the low-income category in her community.

This is Thân’s 12th loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. Her previous loans have significantly improved her family’s living conditions.

She is now seeking additional funding to invest in livestock farming by purchasing calves, raising them for about a year, and selling them to traders for profit. This will provide a more stable source of income for her and her granddaughter.

However, she faces challenges, as the sales price of livestock remains low, affecting her earnings. In the future Thân hopes for a healthy and happy family, a new home, and enough savings to prepare for unexpected difficulties such as illness or unemployment.
