A loan of $1,375 helps to buy more dried sedge.

Huê's story
Mrs. Huê, a 61-year-old woman living in Nga Sơn District, has a family with three grown children who have started their own families.
With over 20 years of experience in business, she also sells sedge cores to local households. Her husband works as a builder worker, but due to his old age, his work is unstable. With a household income of only $470 per month, her family is classified as a low-income household in the community.
This is Mrs. Huê’s third loan with Thanh Hóa MFI, and her previous loans have significantly improved her family’s living conditions. She is applying for this loan to purchase more dried sedge, which she processes into woven fibers for sale to handicraft businesses. The funds will help her expand production of sedge. However, one of her biggest challenges is that the products she makes often sell at low prices, making it difficult to generate stable profits.
In the future, Mrs. Huê hopes for a healthy and happy family, a more successful business, and better market conditions so that her handcrafted products can sell at higher prices, ensuring a more stable income.
