Hằng's story

Mrs. Hằng, a 50-year-old ethnic minority woman in Vietnam, lives in Ngọc Lặc District. Her husband passed away and her son is grown up and moved away for work, so she currently resides with her grandchild, who is still in school. With over 10 years of farming experience, she also runs a small grocery business to supplement her income. However, her family is still classified as a low-income household in the community.

This is Mrs. Hằng’s fourth loan with Thanh Hóa MFI as previous loans have helped her improve her living conditions. She is applying for this loan to invest in acacia tree cultivation, using the funds to purchase more seedlings. This investment will not only generate additional income for her family but also help reduce soil erosion. Despite her efforts, she faces challenges such as living far from the town center, which makes access to essential services more difficult.

Looking ahead, Mrs. Hằng hopes for a healthy and happy family, earning enough to support her granddaughter’s education and save for her old age. She dreams of achieving financial stability and securing a better future for herself and her loved ones.
