Kate's story
Growing up surrounded by nature, gardening was more than just a hobby, it was a way of reconnecting with the present moment and finding peace. I believe plants and flowers have the power to help us embrace life’s fleeting beauty and provide healing in times of stress. This belief drives me to create a space where others can experience that same sense of calm and joy.
The pandemic inspired many to turn to nature for comfort, which motivated me to start Gratitude Flowers, a small nursery and flower farm. I’m passionate about sharing the joy and calming benefits of gardening and flowers with others, and I believe that flowers offer a powerful way to nurture both the land and our well-being. In addition to growing timeless blooms, I offer taller cutting garden variety plant starts that are often hard to find at most nurseries, giving gardeners access to unique varieties that bring both beauty and function to their gardens. My entrepreneurial journey began with a desire not only to grow plants but also to foster a deeper connection with my community and the environment. At Gratitude Flowers, we honor sustainable practices that bring beauty to life in an eco-friendly way, and I’m committed to helping others discover the healing joy of flowers.
