Ephelly's story
Ephelly is a 40-year-old married woman supporting a family of six with the help of her spouse. She has two children under the age of 18.
Her business, a retail spare parts shop, has been in operation over 13 years and generates her a total monthly income of KES 50,000 on average. She took a loan of KES100,000 to stock her shop with motor spare parts like lubricant, tubes, tyres, pistons, pegs. rings and head pumps.
Ephelly intends to use the profits this boost to service the loan, pay her bills, expand further and also save for herself. This is her second loan from VisionFund Kenya and she hopes to continue growing her business.
