Thanh Luong 196 Group's story
Mrs. Thinh currently lives in a family of four members in a village in the mountainous northwest of Vietnam. She is a Thai ethnic minority. Standing in the photo on the right side is Thinh.
Back then, her family could not afford to send her to school fully, so she dropped out of school at the secondary level. Understanding the difficulties and deprivation of not being fully educated, she tried to send her two children to finish high school.
Every day Thinh works hard in the fields and raises chickens to earn a living. After much consideration, she wants to take a loan to buy some more chicks and feed for the chickens. If this investment is profitable, she will use it to buy more chickens.
Her dream is that her family will be always healthier, happier and more prosperous. Besides, the next generation of her grandchildren can go to higher education and have a brighter future. Thank you for this support from Kiva lenders.
