A loan of $1,650 helps to buy more liquor and soft drinks for sale.

Dinah's story
Dinah is 29 years old and lives in the town of Njeru in the Mukono region of Uganda. She is married and has one child.
For the past 2 years, Dinah has been working hard to manage her bar business, which sells liquor. To help expand her business, Dinah has requested a loan of 6,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more liquor and soft drinks for sale, and will help Dinah to generate greater profits and invest more in her business and buy food for her family.
Dinah hopes that in the future she will be able to build more rentals for business. She is a member of BRAC's microfinance program that primarily serves small group members like her who do not have collateral for commercial loans but do have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
