Violet Group's story
The "Violet" group is made up of hard-working, responsible people, committed to improving the quality of living of their families. They live in working class neighborhoods with regular living conditions.
This is the case with Lucia. She is 37 years old, married and has five school-aged children. For ten years she has been earning a living making and selling food. She set-up her house and kitchen to make her sales. This business allows her to generate income to be able to support the family expenses.
With her loan she will buy all the supplies needed to prepare the food she sells.
Lucia would like to better equip her kitchen so she can offer better quality foods.
The rest of the group is made up of: Rosalia, Maria, Lizeth, Oralia and Lorudes women who fight alongside their families to get ahead.
